Court Reporter (Rover) - Fourth District
The Court Reporter provides verbatim reporting and transcribing of court proceedings, hearings and conferences throughout the four (4) counties in the Fourth Judicial District for sitting district judges, visiting judges, senior judges, and magistrate judges. The Court Reporter also provides verbatim reporting and transcribing of grand juries and for termination of parental rights trials in the magistrate division. This position will work and serve under the general supervision of the Administrative District Judge or Designee. Travel is expected. This position will remain open until filled.
Certified Court Reporter
Well-established, reporter-owned firm seeking certified court reporters to join our top-notch team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Freelance reporter duties include covering depositions in-person and remotely using various video conference platforms (equipment provided); transcribing audio recordings of court proceedings, interviews, etc.; maintaining exhibits before, during, and after the deposition; effective verbal and written communication with attorneys, support staff, and production team.
Freelance reporter would need own transportation in order to travel to surrounding area. Reporter will also need to provide all equipment necessary to record and transcribe proceedings. Idaho or National certification (or temporary certificate) is required. Real Time certification is helpful, but not required. You will be required to register as a Notary Public.
